Imaging on Dec 13-14, 2002
between Dec 6 and Dec 18th Coordinates

I took some 20 min 1x binning image (made possible by Naji's huge 10 hour block of telescope time). Again, with the white/ red personas and trailing moons. The new objects are pretty obvious. So far it looks like these ones could really clinch it! The first image of the night is the Dec 13 1200sec exposure [right]. This image is not as definite as the Dec 14 images with the moons fainter and a couple very close to existing objects but I think that is about how it looks. The next set of 240 sec images began almost an hour later with the final set of 3 1200 sec images finishing 3 hours after the first image with the coordinates around 40 degrees high in the sky and facing SWW. Analysis of the rest of the Dec 13 images will be a little more difficult as it does not show up so blaringly obvious. I'm not sure if there was some obscuring in front of some of the existing stars, red light bending to a new location or what but some new objects are most easily seen on the 3 other Dec 13 1200sec images. In any case, the Dec14 images look pretty stunning and I think are absolutely conclusive that there is a real Planet X rapidly moving in!

Once again, these are FITS files, which means one must use a FITS viewer which can be downloaded from a Harvard site. The files are dated Dec 13th or 14th depending upon time taken during the evening, and represent different exposure times (240 or 1200 seconds). DSS Comparison Charts are zipped as they are large to encompass the large SAO star used as a guideline previously, and encompass the area of the new images. The Dark, Flat, and Bias are also as used formerly, as they still apply. The Coordinates for Dec 6 and Dec 18 must be Converted. Use Pierre's Guide to locate the coordiantes in reference to neighboring stars, including the large SAO star used for orientation on the Sep 21, 2002 imaging.
